Live action (TV, film)

Despite attempts by her first agent to convince Lindsay to focus only on one specific media or age group, she tends to write across genre and form. Different stories suit different forms, she says and it may be what keeps her writing fresh.

Currently adapting her first novel, Dad’s Red Dress into an eight-part TV series with Tailored Films, it received development support from Creative Europe, WrapFund and Screen Ireland. She is Executive Producing on the project.

Over the years,  Lindsay has created and developed series/ films and/ or written scripts for Grand Pictures, Greenlight Productions, Momodica (Malaysia), Abu Media, One Productions, Stormlight Productions, Causeway Films, Lunar Pictures, MoPraxis Films, Magma, RTE, BBC4, Zapala Media, CJ Cookson Productions, Armchair Films, Broadsword Productions and others. She has also worked on a number of games, as well as developing one of her own for children with autism and their peers.
